Lanco United Soccer Club and Lanco Youth Soccer is proud to host the 22st Annual 2012 Red Rose Classic on May 5th and 6th 2012. Held annually in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We invite you to apply for this years tournament. With its outstanding competition and quality fields this year's event should be no exception. This year's event will attract around 175 premier and travel teams from about 6 states.

 

Registration is NOW open. The deadline for application is April 2nd 2012

Eligibility
For 2012 the Red Rose Classic is sanctioned by both USYSA/EPYSA and US Club Soccer.
This is a USYSA/EPYSA sanctioned tournament for club teams. Teams must be US Youth or US Club Soccer affiliated, in good standing with their state association, and players possess 2011-2012 player passes.  A maximum 5 USYSA or US Club Soccer carded guest players are allowed. Teams will be evaluated on their individual team records and placed in the appropriate division of competition.  

Rules
A minimum of 3 games are guaranteed (See Acceptance). All games will be played in accordance with FIFA Laws, except as modified by Tournament Rules. Tournament Rules are posted on this website and can be downloaded for print.

Age Groups

Travel & Premier Divisions:
Boys and Girls U9 through U19.
U9s, U10s, and U11s will play 8 v 8
U12s can play either 8 v 8 or 11 v 11 - If you are a Full Sided team (11v11) you CAN'T apply for short sided (8v8)
U13s and up will play 11 v 11

 

Entry Fees:

U9 & 10  - $540

U11 & U12 (8v8) - $580

U12 (11v11) - $620

U13 through U19 - $650

This year we will be using PayPal for registration payments after you submit your application. Please follow the directions after the application.

After you submit your application and online payment. Please send a copy of your ORIGINAL State Stamped Roster to the following address. This is to ensure that once Friday Night Tournament Registration comes that we will be running smoothly with no problems. Jamie Kuntz 2534 Brookside Drive Lancaster, PA 17601.

All late applications (Submitted after the Deadline-April 2nd) will automatically be put on a waiting list for review. Upon acceptance, the fee is non-refundable. If your team is accepted and later withdraws, the entry fee is non-refundable and sanctions will be placed against your team/club for future participation in Lanco Youth Soccer and Eastern Pennsylvania events.

Acceptance
Participation is not final until acceptances are announced by April 11th, 2012. Acceptances will be posted on the Tournament Website.

 

Tournament Fee Payments:

This year we will  be accepting credit card payments. All tournament registration forms must be accompanied by a credit card for your tournament fee. You will checkout through PayPal once you have submitted your registration form.
All entry fees received are deposited immediately and refunded within 3 weeks of your teams non-acceptance.

Registration

Will take place at the Red Rose Indoor Arena Friday May 4th from 5-8pm. This is the only time we will be registering teams.

The following items are needed for team registration:

  • 2011/12 Certified State Stamped Team Roster (Original plus two copies)
  • Medical release forms for each player (Do not have to be notarized). Your generic Team/Club medical release is ok.
  • 2011/12 Player Passes for each player
  • Secondary Players are considered Guest Players - Secondary Passes will not be accepted.
  • Permission to Travel Form (if necessary from your state, please check with your state association)

Permission to travel forms are not required from teams from Region 1, with the exception of teams traveling from New Jersey. Teams may not play without having registered under penalty of forfeiture of games and entry fee.

Referees
If you are interested in Referring the Red Rose Classic, you must be USSF Registered and in good standing, please contact our Referee Assignor, Darrell Bohannon – email at Djbohannon@comcast.net   

 

Awards
Each player on the Championship and Runner-up teams will receive a custom tournament trophy. Younger teams are encouraged to participate in a patch or pin exchange at the conclusion of each match.
